Today, we celebrated our holiday by grilling inside on our George Foreman (it was a little rainy to bust out the hibachi) and feasted on salad, sauteed polenta and tomatoes (in PAM, sans olive-oil), fat-free Hebrew National hotdogs, and made kibobs with artichoke-stuffed and garlic-filled sausages, zucchinis and squash, and purple onions. If not for the sausages, it was an otherwise low-fat, reduced calorie meal.
This will have to be any meal in the near future, at least until next Friday's prego check-up/ob-appointment (33 wks and counting down to Anna's arrival!!), because Rafi-week and OBX-week have NOT been kind to us as far as mid-sections go... We have been eating like crazy! So today was the first day we pulled in the reigns and it was a little difficult but we will persist! Head strong! Lean belly's forward! (or otherwise sucked in as best we can)
I'll be back with stories of the Outer Banks... I took notes on the way back home but left the notepad in the car and without my brainstorming notes I am rather lost on our 3 1/2 days there. Here are some of my favorite pics though, and be back tomorrow!
