Fall Sundays

I hope Sundays like the one we had yesterday repeat themselves for a few more weeks! Fall is definitely here and the weather has been beautiful! (The hats on the kids were more of a precautionary measure than actually needed.) Sunday evening Manny and I headed out to the back of our place, lit up the fire pit, poured a glass of red wine and chatted with each other for the first time in what seemed like weeks! Our lives have been so busy lately! It was good to see him for more than just an hour before one of us had to go somewhere or he had to work... I think we both needed a day off together. While the fire burned and we exchanged our favorite quotes and stories, Anna chilled out and Gabe played with his trains and planes in the one dirt patch we have among all the cement! 

He was crashing his plane into his castle and Thomas would come to the rescue to clean it all up.
Before I had a baby girl, I always said I would never bathe a girl in pink, it was just way too predictable. Well, I've become what I said I wouldn't. She just looks so good in the color, I can't resist! She's smiling more and more, and when she does we just hope we have a camera nearby to capture it.
