The Best Christmas Presents Ever...
****
When my cousin Bekah flew in on Wednesday afternoon, I doubt she expected the morning she got when we were up by the crack of dawn on Thursday, rushing Gabe to the doctor's with a 102 fever and what we expected to be a nasty ear infection.
Alas, one look into his right ear revealed that his tube fell out and made way for a very infected inner ear. Poor bud. Bekah excitedly (right...) waited for us in the car with Anna in the back. While we ran to C.O. Bigelow to get his antibiotic filled, Motrin, and Zyrtec, we grabbed a quick bite at French Roast on W. 11th and 6th. I knew Gabe was definitely not up to par when his scrambled eggs with cheese, his fav, went untouched. We arrived home by noon; within 10 minutes he took his medicine, changed into his "comfy pants" and he headed to bed. Then Bekah did... Then Anna... And me? I grabbed a whole 30 minutes alone with my Vanity Fair! It was such a reward after the crazy morning.
Today, everyone seems to be doing better, and we are happy to have Daddy home. We are about to run our errands, clean the house, and pack up for our trip to Ohio tomorrow.

I feel so sorry for Gabe, I hope he feels better for the trip to Ohio. That is the cutest picture of the two of them... Anna is looking at him and smiling also. I love them !!!
I looked at them again this morning to get a kick-start on the day. Thanks. Love you. Have a safe trip
