date night!

Friday night, Gabe's school had a Family Night Ethnic Dinner. Parents donated everything from plates and napkins to cooking up ethnic cuisine from their homelands. (We went all out by donating... A bottle of apple juice. We figured we had a minor excuse in that we worked a lot this week and we also had a 6-month old at home. Of course, we didn't "advertise" that was all we donated but maybe next year we will cook up some picadillo....) Daddy was tired from a long work week, so he and Anna stayed home while we headed off to the dinner together. We had so much fun! Gabe ran around "capturing" people with his hula hoop and bouncing all over the place. I enjoyed some Polish, Czech, Chinese, Indian, Greek cuisine while Gabe opted for Italian: A slice of pizza. 

It was good to be able to hang out with my buddy, one-on-one again! Like old times.
