Brother and Sister
Gabe often means to say "I am such a good big brother" but instead it comes out "I am such a brother!" We always correct him, waiting for the day he will get all seven words together but until then, it's the fact that matters. I think their love for one another grows more and more everyday, and Manny and I have spent our last two weeks of Holiday'ing snuggling up and literally kissing our darlins until Gabe looks at us and says, "Stop kissing me, guys!" If Anna could speak I am sure she would say something along those lines, too. Getting back in to the groove of our schedules (especially the Monday morning schlep to school) hasn't been so bad, but Gabe missed Daddy this morning.
He asked me where he was today and I said, "Daddy's at work."
Gabe responded, "He's walking in the countryside."
"Huh? No honey, Daddy's at work."
"Yeah, I know, Mom. He's walking in the countryside."
Apparently the Upper West Side is the new Countryside.
