Second Day of Winter Break...

What did we do before school? Gabe is used to constant engagement... Constant... Constant... Constant... The running joke around here is that Gabe has Sooooo Muchhhhhh Energyyyyyyy that while we carry on conversation with him, he is hopping, running, jumping, bouncing off the walls and off of us! From the moment "the sun is up" (his very words) until "the sun goes down" (yes, his description of night) he doesssss notttttt stopppppp. I give thanks that he is awesome at entertaining himself and can play for hours in his room, but other times he does need the constanttttttt gooooo Goooo GOOOO!! I am dealing quite nicely, although I do need a strong drink.

For lunch today, I asked if he wanted chicken and rice or lasagna. He told me "Yana" which I guessed was his version of Lasagna. The more I repeated it, the better he got. "Yasana" was his second try. "Lasayana" was his third. Until, "lasagna!" on his fourth try. He told me, "You're lasayana is so very good, Mom. I can eat it all day!" Aww...

Then we had one of my Skinny Cow's for dessert, low in calories but high in fiber! I try to hide them from Manny and Gabe but to no avail. They are hooked on the ice cream sandwiches!

Anna has been doing better at her eating... On the menu currently is rice cereal and apples. The baby girl tried pears yesterday and made a face of extreme discomfort, like "Yuckkkk!" But I think she'll keep the apples...

Here we are after a major poo blow-out, third change of the day... Staying positive... Mama's thinking of that drink later...
