We've been home since Friday evening, when Anna was discharged after the coughing finally gave her a break, she was able to get some sleep and regain some of her strength. We had a very slow-paced weekend, just readjusting and keeping her routines and medicines straight. Below is a photo of Anna from last Tuesday night, when she first went in to the hospital. I was trying to take a few photos to try and cheer her up (she loves the camera... usually) but for the most part, she ignored me and wanted to be left alone. Who could blame her, really? Poor babes.
It was a rough few days, but by Friday we were excited she was able to come home. We were really blessed that Abuela flew up from Florida to help us. Below, Daddy and Anna catch some sleep while we were waiting to be discharged.
Anna got back into her therapies this week, and is looking more like her ol' self and smiling so much. Here she is standing next to her physical therapist, Gladys, with her back to the playpen, playing with her favorite toy, her Elmo music maker!
