Gabe and his team, the Green Panthers, had their first soccer game on Saturday. They had a team huddle, yelled "Let's Go Team!" and off they went.
Anna laughed and smiled the whole time. She just sat in Grandma's lap and watched the kids running after the ball and kicking it from one end of the field to the other. She loves watching Gabe, whether he's eating, playing or talking... She is so mesmerized by him. It was so cute to see her face so lit up.
Unfortunately the Mean Green lost, and the only goal scored the whole game was by a girl on the other team. We were a little bummed but Gabe didn't seem too upset by it. I think he had fun anyway.
