Who doesn't love chamomile tea?
It seems to be my lot in life that my skin relives puberty every change of season. Not so much spring into summer, but definitely summer into fall and winter. My cheeks get dry, my forehead and chin get oily. My nose isn't sure what to do.
After discussing my recent breakout with the lady who does my eyebrows at SpaHydra, who also does facials and microdermabrasion, etc., what in the heck I could do to help, she recommended whipping up one fresh egg white until it was nice and foamy, and rubbing it all over my face and leaving it for 7 minutes. Of course, I decided "the more the merrier" and left it on for about 15, when my skin became so tight I could no longer move my mouth or blink my eyes. I ran to wash it off and the results were incredible. It was a free face lift! My skin looked tighter and more refreshed, and when Manny saw me post-egg white-mask, he said it was a "stunning" difference. Little does he know that before Christmas photos, he too will have himself a little egg white treatment.
She also recommended using fresh chamomile tea on the skin -- soak a desired amount of tea bags in hot water, wait to cool, and place on face for as long, or as little, as you want. I don't have to use any lotion for about 2 days after doing my little tea treatment. (I also love the price and holistic-ness!)
And besides Manny confirming I looked like Hannibal Lecter from "Silence of the Lambs", it was a fun experience, too.
