I wish I had more time to sit down and write more the past few days, so much going on... Good days here, crap Rett days there, but we're mostly dealing with a terrible two who is frustrated with everyone these days. I am writing on deadline right now so don't have much time to get into that, but I will soon enough. I keep thinking of what Joy Behar asked, "How do you keep yourself from not going under?" And all I do is laugh at the preposterousness of the question, because some days I don't know the answer!

hi stefanie, you dont know me but im also a rett mommy and found your blog once all the "View" excitement started on FB. I watched the show with tears in my eyes-like i think most us moms did-thank you for being brave enough to sit on national television and talk about your sweet girl-and really all our girls. it was a huge moment that I know will have a huge impact.
I dont know how we manage to keep from going under either-but usually my answer is: we just do.
