What a great Thanksgiving day! After Mass, we came home, got into comfy (and stretchy) clothes, baked homemade apple pie while the food warmed up and we all readied to celebrate the holiday!

While some of us sipped on Cokes or red wine, Abuela Ilsa asked for a Margarita. She takes her pre-gaming seriously.

Rafa and Gabe hung out in the living room and played with old school cars... Some cars belonged to Manny when he was a little boy and another belonged to Rafa, one was from 1968!

Anna sat in her old lady chair covered in blankets, and watched everyone bustle around the kitchen. I promised her she'd get a yummy dinner later.

Ahh so how scrumptious does this all look? Gabe wanted to get in there early.

While at dinner, we enlightened Manny when he asked us to tell him what each of us were thankful for this year. All eyes turned to Anna, as we remembered where we were a mere 4 months ago and how thankful we were for the blessings of health, wonderful children, supportive and loving spouses, family near and far, and friends.
It was one of the best Thanksgivings yet.
