Welcome to northern weather!! After a frigid Monday-Thursday, we got a little bit of a warm up on Friday, making way for a warm (60's) weekend! We headed to the West Side, to 86th St., where the park was crawling with runners, bikers, picnic-ers, walkers, ballers, and lots of families! It was wonderful to look around at everyone in their t-shirts, breaking free from the winter hibernation and coming out to play!
Gabe had a blast setting up the picnic lunch he and I packed in the morning, and then spending the rest of the afternoon running around like a crazy man (what he does best)!
Anna did fantastic! We left around 11 a.m. and didn't get home until almost 9 p.m. (we took cousin Adam out for his birthday that evening!)
She was a trooper all day!
Our hopes of taking a smiley family picture were dashed when Gabe realized it was more fun to act like a goofball. Surprise, surprise!
