NYC school's had their first Snow Day since 2004 this past Monday. This called for major celebration and dressing in multiple layers to "go shovel snow" as Gabe likes to do. In the picture below, Gabe was singing "Fee Fye Foe Fum! I've got a Big Belly and I'm gonna Eat You!"

While I stayed in with Anna, who had a slight cold this week, Daddy and Gabe took a walk up to our local grocery store. On the way, Gabe insisted on shoveling every flake of snow off the sidewalks.
About an hour later, they made it to the store that is normally a 15-minute walk away, where Gabe and his shovel rode along on the buggy, cart, basket, or whatever you choose to call it.
Another hour later, they arrived with groceries in hand, a clean shovel, and spent the rest of the evening warming up!

I could have used that work ethic on my driveway this year.
Again.... I shouldn't have left when I did.
