When I rescued the paper from my cold mailbox, it was great to see my last 3-weeks' blood, sweat and tears with my name right smack on the cover... Ok, so blood, sweat and tears is a gigantic exaggeration but it did involve many 4 a.m. mornings until 11 p.m. nights as well as countless nightmares of getting fired if it wasn't good enough and public embarrassment if I didn't deliver - big time. I'd count in a few minor breakdowns and eight-and a-half anxiety attacks. The half-er was stopped by a Jack and Coke I ordered one minute into it. Since online doesn't do it much justice (the website is currently being re-worked), here it is in all of its printed glory.
To read it online, ch-ch-ch-check it out here.
As you can imagine, this is a huge story, especially here in New York right now. Yesterday, I went on a local program called "In the Arena" to talk about what implications this legislation has had in California and so far the article has had a positive reception. I believe the show airs this Sunday in the evening. When it posts to the channel's website, I'll post the link. That is, if the camera didn't add 10... or 50 pounds.
