Anna: Going Gaga for Gaga

My sister Kelli came to visit this past weekend, and it was great sisterly fun! I loved having her here to laugh with, share old memories with, catch up on where we are now and where we are heading, new adventures and big dreams... We made it out on the town one night, out of the city another, and to the beach on yet another. She was amazing with the kids and it was such a breath of fresh air to have someone to look after one while I took care of the other. (How parents of more than 2 juggle their lives while retaining sanity while doing it is beyond - absolutely beyond - me. Kudos, you moms and dads who have done it or are doing it now. You are amazing.)

On another note, I am really missing family lately... I've been taking a lot of trips down memory lane as Anna's 1st birthday approaches, and going back to where we were as a tight-knit clan of 3 when we met our 4th member 5 weeks early on a Friday afternoon. I don't remember what life was like with just the 3 of us, right now life is so right with Manny, me, Gabe and Anna. It's just something that makes sense. Like peas and carrots... Or milk and chocolate chip cookies.

Anyway, I can divulge more on that tangent later. The main purpose of this blog post is to announce that the Gutierrez's officially have Lady Gaga Fever. Anna is a dancin' machine when the song plays, and her songs of joy come out sounding like schrieks of terror, but she's really happy. Really! This video of her gettin' down with Aunt Kelli pretty much sums up Anna's reaction anytime she hears "Poker Face." (Oh, and turn up your speakers.)
