We recently found an awesome organization called GirlPower2Cure, whose mission is to raise awareness and funds for research to cure Rett Syndrome. There are many families involved whose daughter's have Rett Syndrome, and I figure, as times goes on and Manny and I are able to commit to holding fundraisers for research, or running a few 5K's, or holding something as little as a bake sale or, as Gabe mentioned, a lemonade stand, and eventually bigger events, we'd also like to raise awareness and advocate for Anna and all of the other thousands of girls affected by this terrible disease.
