Last week we visited two schools Gabe was accepted to, one is a charter school and the other is a dual-language program, an English-Spanish immersion of sorts. We attended both Open Houses and finally made our decision. We think it will be a great fit for Gabe and he is very excited about starting Kindergarten! At one of the Open Houses he even made his own name tag, and I love how he spells his name right now, with that little balloon of sorts for the dot over the "i".
I think his future-teachers were impressed too.
(Of course Mama Bear is going to say that.)
A few days after the Open House, Anna's food was delivered in a big box, we bought diapers in bulk and photos came in. Gabe saw quite the opportunity in lining up the boxes largest to smallest and decided to make a freight train. With Daddy's awesome linking techniques and a wild imagination, our apartment was no longer our home but a docking station.
He even included coal deliveries to his bedroom and gave his teddy bear a lift while he was at it.
I've never seen such a smart and handsome conductor!

There is no doubt in my mind he's going to work for a train company. Hopefully, not as a conductor, but as a CEO.
