The kiddies, all ready for bedtime on Tuesday night
Aren't they so sweet?
I was looking at Gabe today, looking more handsome and grown up everyday, and realized that he has successfully worn underwear with no accidents (both numbers 1 and 2, and including night time!) for 7 days in a row. We tried to get him to put on a Pull-Up for bed last night and he would not have any of it.
"I want underwear Mommy. I won't pee on Thomas. I promise. No Pull-Up; Underwear."
He was stern in his tone, and it really was the cutest thing. Having him pick out his own underwear at "the Target store" as he calls it was a great idea, and ever since he started wearing the underwear he picked out, he is very cautious as to not pee on Thomas, Diego, or his lil' tighty whities. That lil' butt is so darn cute.
Anna also had her own little breakthrough today; she finally grew out of one of her preemie night time outfits! Everyday we get closer and closer to actually fitting into the outfits many people bought for her that are oh-so-adorable. We are still in preemie onesies, but those are looking more and more snug as the weeks go by. We may just be out of the preemie diapers soon too, and move on to Size 1's!
Her baptism planning is coming together really nicely, and it looks like things are really starting to come together, especially with special people close to us being able to fly in that we didn't think were going to make it; namely family in both Florida and Ohio (and even Indiana). We are hoping for an awesome celebration!
Gabriel starts school on Monday, the 8th, and I'm feeling anxious and sad about it. I know he is going to do great but I am going to miss our Mommy and Gabe time. I've been trying to get it in as much as possible with a new one around, so that when he does go on Monday, I can smile and know we made the best of our time together the past few weeks, months... Well, years. He's such my little buddy, I am excited to see how it goes.
I am not excited for the bucket of tears I will inevitably cry when I drive away.
