a day with the gals

Last week, Robin, Beth, Anna and I stole ourselves a personal day and met at Alice's Tea Cup at E.64th and Lexington for one, it's amazing selection of goodies, and two, it's proximity to Bloomingdale's. 

Good thing, too, since it rained and poured. Instead of walking off our meal in Central Park, we strolled it off at Bloomie's. I fell in love with a new line, Leifsdottir, for when Manny becomes a big time director and I jump into a workforce that pays a bit more than journalism does. Their clothes fit to a tee. Just not my budget. (Yet.)
Anna slept through the french press coffee, which we were all in dire need of. But when she woke up, she stretched... And stretched... And stretched.  
Her legs are getting so big and strong. She loves standing and when we say, "Good job Anna!" she just smiles and laughs. Everyday she smiles more than the last. When she woke up this morning, I was getting ready to get us all out the door to walk Gabe to school. As I was finishing getting everything ready, Gabe and her were having a little conversation on the bed. It was too cute for words.
She has slept really well the last two nights. When she got up this morning at 4:30 to nurse, Manny was laying in bed and said something. As soon as she heard his voice she leapt with joy! She started smiling and looking for him. Ahh she is going to be Daddy's girl, we already know. It was oh-so-cute.
