Gabriel, at the park today after school.
Manny was working the Election Day coverage all evening
so we headed to the park for an hour or so before dinnertime.
The leaves were so pretty and Gabe kept tossing them up in the air.
We had a great time, until it was time leave...

I bought Gabriel a cookie today at the grocery store.
I showed it to him and he said, "You bought me a baseball player, Mom!"
I kindly corrected him and explained it was a football.
Upon tasting it, he made the above face.
In that whiny voice he said, "I don't like it, Mommmmmmmmm."
"Sorry," I said. It's an icing-topped sugar cookie. I thought he'd love it.
He didn't. So I ate it.

Anna was my Election Headquarters buddy.
She just played and batted at her gym's danglies while I reported the latest poll numbers.
Anyway, it's a little before 10 p.m., I am exhausted...
And I am ashamed of my fellow Ohioans.
Unless a miracle happens while I slumber,
Obama is the president of the U.S.
Everyone ready for some socialism?
Yeah, me neither.
"Socialism is the transitional period of Hope and Change
between Capitalism and Communism."

These pictures have made my day.... It has been prophetically overcast in Florida these past two days. May God help us all.
