Anna turned 2 on Sunday, and we had a perfect little celebration after dinner. We lit two candles and sang Happy Birthday. Now that Abuela, Abuelo Rafa, Aunt Moni and Uncle Rafi are here visiting, we had quite the chorus singing along to "Happy Birthday to you..."
Mommy and Gabe helped blow out her candles. We thought about lots of wishes. Gabe's was that Anna would walk soon. We decided that was an awesome wish and wished big for that.
She picked apart her cupcake and Mommy stood on guard since she doesn't do well with many textures. I didn't want to hand her a pureed cake though! I think she was able to taste just enough sweetness to be satisfied, and then we opened up presents. She received many beautiful outfits and fun games from all of her many sets of grandparents and one thing is for sure: She's going to be one stylin' 2-year old!
